I have been practicing family law for over 20 years and have found that each case is different and has it's own unique set of challenges and needs it's own individualized solution.
At the Law Office of Carlton Willis, we are here to listen to your concerns and apply our knowledge and experience to help you achieve your goals for your individual situation. We know that this situation can be tough on you emotionally, and we've got a number of different options to assist you with these issues.
Carlton Willis is licensed by the North Carolina State Bar and limits his practice to family law. The focus of his practice is child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution of marital property, issues related to domestic violence and other legal issues arising from separation and divorce.
Carlton was born in eastern North Carolina and grew up on a tobacco farm where he began working by the age of six. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in psychology and communications. After working for UNC Hospitals he went back to law school and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.

I am from New York City. After some time in the United States Army, my family and I relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina. We've been here since 2008 and so far it has been great. Prior to relocating, I earned my certification in Tennessee and worked for a Criminal Law Firm in Clarksville, Tennessee. I also worked for a Criminal Law Office in Raleigh, North Carolina. I joined Ludwig and Willis, now the Law Office of Carlton Willis, in 2013 and provide administrative assistance, office management and bookkeeping services. As the first point of contact, I also provide a listening ear and a shoulder for our clients to lean on. I enjoy interacting with our clients and getting to know them as they journey through this difficult time in their lives.
